Q. What’s this blog about?

A. I’ve been writing this blog for over a year now. Initially I thought I would only write about music but over the months I’ve addressed how patience is a virtue when it comes to Sloe gin, books, living with Tinnitus, the Olympics and Paralympics, swimming around Lido’s and my seemingly bottomless love for London. Some of the topics I’ve ended up writing about have surprised me utterly, but I love that I can still find new obsessions in my thirties and won’t settle for boredom.

But still the music. Always the music. My constant companion in life.

Q. What else do you need to know about me?

A. I prefer crunchy peanut butter over smooth. I love Oreo Milkshakes with extra malt and pints of cider and black (never together). If I could have penned any book published it would be The People Of Providence by Tony Parker. I cry regularly at Doctor Who. I like to think I’m essentially one of the good guys. I am clumsy to the point of rivaling Frank Spencer. I am foolishly optimistic, it is often my downfall. Wes Anderson films make me happy. I will eat 99% of anything edible that comes out of the water. I think my 1st generation classic iPod is on it’s last legs, this makes me sad. I love getting muddy knees at festivals.

A. I am more than happy to oblige, it’s literally my favourite thing in the whole universe to do! I can post you a CD or make a playlist on spotify. If you have a specific occasion, problem that can be solved via music or just fancy a random selection from a stranger then get in contact (details below).
